
WPA Teams with Il Mito Restaurant and St. Luke’s Hospital to Feature Pork
Wisconsin Pork Association (WPA) recently teamed together with the Il Mito Restaurant and Aurora Health Care Systems in a pork promotion showcasing pork’s versatility and how it fits into a healthy lifestyle.
Chef Michael Fekker, owner and Executive Chef of the Il Mito restaurant, located in Wauwatosa, WI, created an original pork recipe, “Mediterranean Pork Stir Fry.” While Chef Michael cooked the pork recipe in the hospital cafeteria, Chef Jerry Malinowski, Foodservice Director at St. Luke’s Hospital, handed out samples of the nutritious pork stir-fry to over 400 employees and visitors at Aurora’s St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee. The recipe was very low in sodium and gluten free.
