Mentoring Program

The Wisconsin Pork Association is offering young adults of Wisconsin a unique opportunity to consider the many occupations associated with the pork industry in Wisconsin.

The Pork Industry Mentoring Program is a year long experience which encompasses trips to World Pork Expo as well as the Wisconsin Pork Winter Meeting and Taste of Elegance. But of more benefit to those participants is the job shadowing with industry representatives as well as progressive producers, educators and other pork industry advocates.

This program is open to all youth ages 18-24 who are interested in improving the future of the swine industry in the state. For more information, please contact the Wisconsin Pork Association at 608-723-7551, 1-800-822-7675, or download the PDF version of the Pork Industry Mentoring Program and the Mentorship Brochure. A mentorship application form is also available.

The Wisconsin Pork Association's mission is to insure the future success of the Wisconsin pork industry. WPA represents the interests of the pork industry members with the strong emphasis on social issues, public and government policies, environment, animal welfare and safety.
