The annual Pork/Corn/Soy expo provides a one-stop opportunity for educational programs, trade show, and networking. Held at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, it also gives producers a chance to mix business with family time at a popular winter destination.
The event is hosted by Wisconsin Pork Association, Wisconsin Soybean Association, Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board, Wisconsin Corn Growers Association and Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board.

Pork Sessions Offered
WPA Annual Meeting
All pork producers are invited to attend the WPA Annual Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, January 31 beginning at 12:30 p.m. During the meeting producers have the opportunity to vote on Wisconsin Pork Association programs and elect board members to lead the organization. Producers will also elect two individuals to serve as delegates for the National Pork Board’s annual meeting. Industry award recipients and students receiving scholarships will also be recognized.
PQA Plus and TQA Certification
Pork Quality Assurance® Plus (PQA® Plus) is a clear demonstration of our industry’s commitment to food safety and animal well-being. Certification is available to caretakers attending the PQA® Plus seminar. Transport Quality Assurance (TQA) is a program that helps swine transporters, producers, and handlers understand how to handle, move, and transport pigs. This session will certify individuals hauling pigs.
On-Farm Environmental & Swine Health Issues Panel
The panel will focus on findings from the UW-Discover Farms program as well as updates to the swine health rules in Wisconsin. Erica Olson, Farmer Network and Communications Coordinator, will discuss findings and tips on how to use the information on your farm.
Dr. McGwin and Dr. Konkle from the WI Dept. of Agriculture will provide an update and answer questions regarding the swine movement health rule changes implemented this year.
Integrator Perspective on Pork Production
Dr. Cameron Schmitt will discuss how the Pipestone model works, and discuss avenues on how farmers can engage as an owner within the system. Dr. Schmitt will address details regarding barn construction as well as how the system relates to the global market.
Cooking with Pork
Let’s spice up that meal using ingredients in our cupboards. Learn ways to make new recipes out of old ones, and the best temperature to cook pork to. Pick up new recipes and ask questions on how to make the best meal for your family using pork.
Taste of Elegance
Join the Wisconsin Pork Association for an elegant evening filled with creative pork entrees prepared by eight of Wisconsin’s finest chefs. Sample the unique pork dishes and vote for your favorite pork dish to determine the People’s Choice Award. Kaitlyn Riley, Wisconsin’s 71st Alice in Dairyland, will emcee the event where chefs will compete for over $2000 in prizes.
Youth Pie & Live Auctions
Come one, come all and place your bid on a variety of fresh-baked pies and other items during the annual youth pie and live auction. Proceeds from the auctions support Wisconsin Pork Association programs, with all funds raised in the pie auction going directly to youth programming.
Breakfast & Discussions with the WPA Board
Join the Wisconsin Pork Association Board of Directors for a round-table discussion on WPA programming and current industry issues. Representatives from the National Pork Board and National Pork Producers Council will be available to address topics and questions on national pork industry trends.
